About Us

The award was presented by Debra Ashton-Chase, PFDA president, at a special recognition ceremony held at the 136th PFDA Convention and

 Expo in April.


The funeral home was started by Joseph and Lottie Jendrzejewski

 (1917 – 1940);
Ernest S. and Clara Jendrzejewski (1940 – 1970);

 Ernest T. and Monica Jendrzejewski (1970 – 2002);
Joseph M. and Kerin Jendrzejewski (2002 – present).


Organized in 1881, the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association (PFDA) is the largest state funeral directors association in the nation, and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association. The Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association exists to inform and educate funeral directors, the public, and the government about the value of funeral service and licensed funeral directors on a pre-need, at need, and post-need basis.
