William E. Stahley

     William E. Stahley, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, October 30, 2026, at his home.

     Born January 16, 1951, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Ernest and Marie Murray Stahley.

     William was a 1969 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, and a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Business College.

     He was employed for many years at "My Brother's Place" home improvement store until it's closing and continued working at the Home Depot until retiring.

     Bill regularly attended Mass with his family at St. Nicholas-St. Mary's Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

     He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry, but most of all, loved his granddaughter and the time he spent with her.

     He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara on November 4, 2019; brother, Martin "Ernie" Stahley; and sisters, Marie Sturdevant and Betty O'Konsky.

     Surviving is his sons, Scott Brozowski and his companion, Debbie Ostrowski of Wilkes-Barre Township, and Kevin Stahley and his wife, Jessica of Wilkes-Barre; granddaughter, Carleigh Stahley; nieces, nephews, and his family dogs, Jeb, Buford, and Traveller.

     Private funeral services will be held by the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
