William K. Jones

William K. Jones, born December 27, 1968, in Kingston, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, at Allied Services Hospice in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. His passing marks the end of a life that touched many with kindness, loyalty, and strength.

William was the cherished son of the late Kenneth Jones and Carol Ann Wallace Jones, whose memory he honored throughout his life. He was also predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Jones.

William’s legacy continues through his devoted sister Carolanne and her husband Daniel. Their dedication was a continued source of support for Billy.  He will also be sadly missed by his fur babies Sissy and Garfield.

William was a loyal employee of Walmart for over 20 years.  He loved to go to the movies. He was an avid fan of Star Wars movies and collector of memorabilia.   Billy rarely met an electronic gadget that he didn't love or have to own.

In both his personal relationships and the moments shared with family and friends, William was known for his gentle spirit and unwavering integrity. His presence at gatherings, and laughter will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Though William’s time with us has come to a close, those who loved him will remember his warmth and the rich memories built over the years. His life serves as a reminder of the enduring bonds of family and the quiet strength found in devotion to those we hold dear.

Private funeral services were held by the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.

William's family would like to thank Allied Hospice and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Emergency Room staff and doctors for their compassionate care provided to William.
