Shelley R. Longfoot

Shelley R. Longfoot, of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born August 8, 1972, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Robert Longfoot and Phyllis Savitski Kostak of Wilkes-Barre Township.

Shelley was 1991 graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. She was active with the area Girl Scout organizations, and a member of St. Nicholas Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Phyllis Kostak, is her step-father, Joseph Kostak of Wilkes-Barre Township; Companion, David Demko of Wilkes-Barre Township; brother, Thomas Longfoot of Wilkes-Barre Township; sister, Amy Barnhardt and her husband, Steven of Pensacola, FL; step-daughter, Jazmin Hughes; Aunts; Uncles; Nieces; Nephews; and Cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 5:00pm at St. Nicholas Church, 226 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Joseph Verespy will be Celebrant. Private entombment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
