Ronald C. Mikielski

Ronald C. Mikielski, of Hanover Township, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Edenbrook at Hampton Nursing, Hanover Township.

Born March 10, 1948, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Chester and Dorothy Kovalick Mikielski.

Ron was a 1966 graduate of Marymount High School, Wilkes-Barre.

After serving in the United States Navy for 2 years, he was employed at Techneglas, Pittston Township, until retirement.

He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

Ron was a classic car enthusiast and especially loved his 1959 Corvette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Dorothy Kovalick Mikielski; and brother, Kenneth in 1971.

Surviving is his brother, Gerald Mikielski and his wife, Barbara, of Dallas, PA; nieces and nephews, Lorie Mikielski, Hope Smith, Gregory Mikielski, Jessica Hudock, April Bridges, Gerald Mikielski Jr., and Andrew Mikielski; and several great nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 29th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Mark Decelles, Sacramental Minister, will be Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming. Friends may call Monday morning from 8:00am until 9:30am at the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre.
