It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Charles Pavone Jr.
Ralph was born on June 6, 1959, at Nanticoke Hospital to the late Sally Pugh and the late Ralph Pavone Sr.
He graduated from Hanover Area High School in 1977 and went on to build a strong work ethic throughout his life. Ralph worked at Carter Footwear Factory for 10 years, followed by another 10 years with Grime Fighters Carpet Cleaning. He later spent nearly 30 years at Maui Cup/Graphic Packaging, where he served as the Printing Department Lead before retiring in October 2024.
Ralph had a deep love for motorcycles and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. His favorite band was KISS, and in high school he proudly played Gene Simmons in a band—an interest that reflected his fun-loving personality.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 10 years, Dorothy; his sons Matt (and companion Tiffany), Scott (and wife Catherine), and Ryan (and fiancée Brittny); his grandsons Rhys and Conner Pavone; his stepdaughters Wendi VanWert (and husband Adam) and Brandi Cerra (and companion Chris); his step-granddaughters Kyla and Brielle Hand; and his sisters Barb (and husband Clem Kopko) and Sharon (and husband George Learn).
Ralph will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his hard work, and the interests that brought him joy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., and again on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow on Friday from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., with a dinner immediately following the service at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 813 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, PA 18704.
