Miguel Vergara

Miguel Vergara of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at his home. Born May 23, 1971, in Huetlan El Chico, Mexico, he is the of Urbano Vergara of Mexico and Leoba Acevedo Vergara of Nanticoke, PA.

Miguel was employed as a machine operator at General Dynamics, Hanover Township, for over 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and playing volleyball and handball in his spare time.

Surviving are his daughters, Jocelyn, Maritza, and Maribel Vergara, all of Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Janellie and Julie Munoz, Caden and Valerie Salas, and Maddison Munoz; brothers, Guillermo and Taurino Vergara; and sisters, Aurelia Vergara, Anna Feliciano, Gabriela Huertero, Hilda Huertero, Sabina Perez, Isabel Vergara, and Ortencia Romero.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00pm at the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call Tuesday after services until 8:00pm.
