Michael P. Soloski

Michael P. Soloski, of Tunkhannock, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at Allied Services-Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Born May 22, 1952, in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa Szymanski Soloski.

Michael was a 1970 graduate of Kittanning High School, and received his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

He was employed as an underground mine inspector for the PA Department of Environmental Protection.

Michael enjoyed playing chess, gardening, and watching football, especially the Pittsburg Steelers.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Hewitt.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, the former Mary Eppley; daughters, Cari Chavira and her husband, Chris of Kittanning, PA, Cara Blanco and her husband, Joshua of Elizabethtown, PA, and Hali Soloski and her husband, Eric Ghenon of Harrisburg, PA; grandchildren, Liam Blanco, Chris Chavira Jr., Roman Chavira, and Anthony Chavira; brothers, Frank, David, Chris, Joseph, Jeff, and Mark Soloski; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre.
