Michael J. Matlock

Michael J. Matlock, of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Born November 13, 1961, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late John and Ann Dunbar Matlock. Michael attended E. L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed with the Laborer's Union Local #130, Scranton.

Mike enjoyed working on old cars, doing body work, painting, and detailing. Surviving is his sister, Barbara Milunic of Luzerne; nephew, Matthew Michael Ainsworth of Luzerne; and his significant other, Lillian Handzo of Wilkes-Barre Township, and her children, Jessica and Billy Bray. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:00am in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
