Michael Eddy Johnson

Michael Eddy Johnson, of Freeland, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at his home. Born November 24, 1956, in Scranton, he was a son of the late Eddy Johnson and Martha Batch McKensie.

Michael attended Scranton Technical School. He was employed as a chef for many years and also worked as a truck driver. He was last employed at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Mike was a handyman and enjoyed fixing things. He loved working on and riding his Harley Motorcycle.

Surviving is his former wife, Patty Johnson of Nazareth, PA; son, Jerimiah Johnson of Dacono, CO; daughter, Roxanne Johnson; granddaughter, Azlynne Johnson; sisters, Barb Gordon and her husband, John of Whidbey Island, WA, and Sheri Stemba and her husband, Joseph of Exeter, PA; and nephew, Lucas Stemba.

Private services and interment in St. John's Greek Catholic Church Cemetery, Scranton were entrusted to the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
