Michael A. Dawson

Michael A. Dawson, of Pittston, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2026, at Allied Services Hospice, Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Born November 21, 1953, in Alexandria, VA, he was the son of the late Harvey and Katherine Pierce Dawson.

Michael worked for many years at Merritt Trucking and also at CALEX Trucking, Pittston.

He enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren who were his "Everything".

Surviving is his sons, Kevin Dawson and his wife, Sherry of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Mark Dawson of Pittston, PA, and Ajay Schmidt and his wife, Lydia of Hanover Township, PA; daughters, Sam Davison and her husband, Bill of Pittston, PA, and Wendy Bullock and her husband, Curt of Newburg, NY; Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brothers, Jerry Dawson and his wife, Connie of Lancaster, PA, Steve Dawson of Edwardsville, PA, Brian Dawson of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Harvey Dawson and his wife, Maureen of Plains, PA; sisters, Kitty Bennett of Frackville, PA, Sally Wiltshire and her husband, Pete of Lancaster, PA, Roberta Wolfe of Lancaster, PA, and Tina Middleton of Wilkes-Barre, PA.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre.
