Mary Ann Steblinski

Mary Ann Steblinski of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born June 11, 1943, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Pokorny Janick.

Mary attended Marymount High School, Wilkes-Barre.

She was employed as a housekeeper at Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre, for 18 years, retiring in 2005.

A devoted catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; daughter, Paula Rogers; and brother-in-law, Nick Skiro.

Surviving is her son, Peter Steblinski and his wife Dawn of Wilkes-Barre;  4 grandchildren Ashlilyn, Matthew, Elizabeth & Ryan; great granddaughter, Hunter Rose; brothers, John Janick and his wife, Jean of Wilkes-Barre, and Stephen Janick and his wife, Ruth of Wilkes-Barre; and sister, Jean Skiro of Wilkes-Barre.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family by the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
