Marie P. Rogers of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center South, Wilkes-Barre.

Born October 31, 1937, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Annastasia Jasiulewicz.

Marie was a 1955 graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed for over 30 years at Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Wilkes-Barre.

She was a member of St. Nicholas-St. Mary's Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

Marie served as an usher at the F.M. Kirby Center, Wilkes-Barre. She was also an avid cook and baker, and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Chacko and Arlene McGuire; and niece, Karen Cholewa.

Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Raymond A. Rogers; daughter, Christine Decker and her husband, Albert of Marlton, NJ; grandsons, Matthew Rogers and his wife, Safiyah of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Mitchell Decker of Marlton, NJ; great grandson, Hamza Decker; brother, Bernard Jasiulewicz Jr. and his wife, Helen of Wilkes-Barre; brother-in-law, Edward Chacko of West Wyoming; sisters, Theresa Zaruta of Wilkes-Barre, and Bernadine Perhonitch and her husband, John of Crossville, TN; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Nicholas Church, 226 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call Wednesday morning at the church from 9:00am until time of Mass. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
