Jean M. Olshefski, born on May 6, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026 in Dunedin, FL.
Jean was a 1956 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, and dedicated many years of hard work as an employee in local shoe factories.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Kathy Hannis Monick; grandchildren, Justin Vetrini and his wife, Erica, Brittany Rooney and her husband, Sean, and Jordan Monick and his wife, Carley; great grandchildren, Jason, Dominic, Isla, Shay, and Amelia; and sisters, Cathy Hoffman, and Linda Ritter.
Jean was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Richard Hannis; 2nd husband, Clem Olshefski; daughters, Christine Hannis Mosley, and Jean Mosley; and son, David Mosley.
Private funeral services and entombment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, were held by the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
