Gertrude M. Woods

Gertrude M. Woods, 87, was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Born December 17, 1936, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Laurena Brannigan.

Gert was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in caring for the needs of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas and two sons, Thomas Jr. and John; sister, Jean Chlubicki; and brother, William Brannigan.

Surviving family members are her sister, Lauren McLaughlin and her husband, William of Delaware; brothers, Eugene Brannigan and his wife, Nancy of Muncy, PA, and Thomas Brannigan of Larksville.

Private interment will be held Monday, May 13th at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
