Frances Ann Tomko

     Frances A. Tomko, 86, of Wilkes-Barre, PA, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025. Born to the late Frances and Edward Kaczmarek Rosoloski, she was a woman whose life was rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength. 

     Frances (Nana) was married to her beloved husband, Frank J. Tomko, who preceded her in death in 2017. Together they built a loving home centered on devotion and care for their children: Robert Tomko and his wife Mary Beth, Jeffrey Tomko and his wife Elizabeth, and Ann Marie Hockenberry and her husband Jeffrey, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

     A lifelong member of Our Lady of Hope on Park Avenue in Wilkes-Barre, Frances lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to her loved ones. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family, offering a warm meal, a listening ear, and a gentle presence that made everyone feel at home. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Edward Rosoloski, as well as her brother Edward Rosoloski and sister Dorothy Lushefski. 

     Frances leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith that will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. 

     Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre. As Nana wished, a private funeral service and Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
