Evelyn Ann Taylor

Evelyn Ann Taylor, of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born August 26, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Violet Kulmaczewski Sledziewski.

Evelyn was a 1968 graduate of St. Mary's High School, Wilkes-Barre.

She was employed as a medical secretary for Dr. John Cavan, Wilkes-Barre, and as a podiatric assistant for Dr. Susan Salak, Wilkes-Barre.

Evelyn was a devoted catholic and a member of St. Leo the Great Parish, Ashley.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching movies, crosswords, crafting, and family trips to Lake George, NY.

Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Paul Taylor; son, Paul Taylor and his wife, Megan of Wilkes-Barre Township; daughter, Nicole Montgomery and her husband, Mark of Wilkes-Barre Township; grandchildren, Brittany Taylor and Tyler Montgomery; and great granddaughter, her little sweetheart, Kaylee Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30am at the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Leo's Church, 33 Manhattan Street, Ashley. The Reverend Vincent Dang, Pastor, will be Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
