"Her hands, so often in the soil, now rest."
She is survived by many who will carry forward her adventurous spirit, remember her dazzling smile, boundless energy and unwavering belief in living life to the fullest.
Diane is survived by her devoted husband, John Godlewski: sons, James and his wife, Brianne; John and his wife, Nanette; and Erik. She was deeply loved as a sister to Christine Wachilla and her husband, Stephen, and cherished as a proud grandmother to four grandchildren who were the light of her life. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated nursing staff of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital CVICU, the compassionate caregivers at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, and the Gift of Life. As one of Diane's guiding beliefs stated, "In giving we receive; in donating, we live on."
